Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (or NHL) is one of the most common cancers among 9/11 responders and survivors. Turley Hansen has represented many claimants with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma since cancer was added to the list of illnesses covered under the Zadroga Act.

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, also called non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma or NHL, is a cancer that originates in your lymph system – the network spread throughout your body to fight diseases. In non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, tumors develop from “lymphocytes” — a type of white blood cell.

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is more common than the other general type of lymphoma — Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Many different sub-types of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma exist. The most common non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma sub-types include diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma.
