President Obama signed the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act into law this afternoon while still on vacation in Hawaii.
Now, the “Special Master” of the re-opened Victims’ Compensation Fund has 180 days to issue new regulations to implement the Zadroga Act. let us all be grateful that this day has finally come

Essentially, lawyers’ fees in Zadroga Act claims are capped at 10% of the compensation recovered on behalf of the client.
